Windscreens

We can fit windscreens (Glass,perspex or similar materials) and body glass in any make, size and model of vehicle. We only fit glass that meets or exceeds the original manufactures specification and with WOW’s expertise, all work is guaranteed so you will be completely satisfied with any work carried out.

This includes cars, vans, lorries, coaches, agricultural and plant vehicles and any others you can mention even including boats. We also have a specialist interest in your prized classic vehicles, and wherever you are in the country we can help with our mail order service. What ever vehicle we do work on for you we always ensure your vehicle will be treated with the best possible care and respect. We stock a large range of rubber trims for all models of vehicles and offer a postal service anywhere in the country for your convenience. We exclusively use Dinitrol bonding adhesive which fully meets the DIN54451 standard and is used by major car manufacturers around the world including: VW, Porsche, Volvo, Chrysler, Toyota, Ford, General Motors, Seat and BMW (and many more). This means that your drive-away times are reduced, often to within 1 hour (dependant on conditions).

We also provide services for many local garages. They use Windscreens on Wheels as we provide an efficient service, give a competitive quote and usually complete all work on the same day. WOW is a name you can trust, give us the opportunity to do the glasswork for your business.

Windscreen Repairs

Windscreens can often be repaired, if you have a small stone chip. WOW has extensive experience and can advise on the best course of action whether to repair or replace. In 9 out of 10 cases, you won’t know where the damage had occurred! Stone chips can be MOT failures, so don’t forget our number, just in case.

Rectification Work, Leak detection

You may have purchased a second hand car, which you have found the windscreen to be leaking or wind noise is heard through a poorly fitted seal of your window. In these instances, WOW can help with any rectification work. If we find a leak in your car, we can usually tell you where the particular fault is in your car, if it isn’t coming in through the window fitting. Our rectification service also includes fitting new chrome to your trims when this has faded or hasn’t been fitted with our expertise.

Lock Out Service

We will probably all get locked out of our car at sometime, and WOW can provide you with a lock-out service so that you can continue your journey or maybe get your young children out of the car quickly and efficiently. And, in some exceptional circumstances, if this can’t be achieved we will break the ‘cheapest’ window in your car to gain entry, and replace that window the same day.

Glass Tinting

WOW can provide you with a window tinting service which will stop the glare of the sun throughout the year, and the need for window blinds. At a small cost to you, this can be dealt with in a day.

Windscreen Care

Most manufactures recommend replacing your wiper blades every 6 months, and when you have had a new windscreen or rear window fitted, don’t get caught out, scratching your new glass. WOW only fit the best quality wiper blades to your vehicle at a minimal charge. We even stock an effective glass cleaner which can be added to your windscreen wash container.
